Finally its here, the Salsa destination you’ve all been asking for! We may have kept you waiting a while for this trip of a lifetime but trust us when we tell you it was well worth the wait!
New York, the city which has given so much to Salsa is probably the most exciting and vibrant city in the world. Famous for the ‘Mambo’ or ‘On2 Salsa’ or simply ‘New York Salsa’, whatever you call this style of dance, New York is the city that made it and where its done best!
For your chance to experience Salsa dancing at its finest and visit the places where world-famous Salsa dancers such as Eddie Torres, Maria Torres, Frankie Martinez, Thomas Guerreo, Nelson Flores and Angel Otiz (to name a few) grace the local dance floors on a regular basis then come with us on our Salsa in the City tour of NEW YORK!
Apart from an abundance of Salsa you will be able to see the famous sights of New York city and of course go shopping!
FLIGHTS You will be flying with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow to JFK New York.
ACCOMMODATION Staying in a luxurious 4 star hotel centrally located amongst all the main NY attractions this hotel is has an endless list of stars who have stayed here including: Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, James Dean, The Jackson Five, Sammy Davis Jr, amongst many others.
Cary Grant lived in the hotel in a wrap-around apartment for 13 years and Paramount Pictures used the hotel for its stars when filming in New York. Other guests include Muhammad Ali, JoJo Starbuck, Jerry Springer, Dionne Warwick, Claudia Schiffer, Liza Minnelli, Matt Damon, Notorious BIG, Alisha keyes and George Clooney, the list goes on! The hotel is also used for the set of TV programme Law and Order. Madonna and Ben Stiller also shot an MTV video at the Hotel. TEACHERS You wil have On1 & On2 workshops from the greatest Salsa teachers in New York including world-famous On2 dancer – Eddie Torres & Maria Torres, Nelson Flores, Thomas Guerrero amongst others (teachers TBC) From the UK: Angus Peters and Nicolai Vignesswarren will also be part of the teaching team.
